Road Safety Series T20 Match 14

Road Safety Series T20 Match 14 by 11ic

India Legends takes on match 14 of Road Safety Series T20 2022 against England Legends at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. As a result of heavy rains in Kanpur and Indore, India's last two matches were abandoned. It is extremely important for India Legends to get a game going here because they cannot afford another rain game where they just get one point. As far as they are concerned, the only game they played was against the South Africa Legends. As a result of Stuart Binny's blistering form, they reached a mammoth total on board after scoring 82 runs off just 42 balls. The bowlers made life tough for the opposition; Rahul Sharma took three wickets to ensure South Africa faltered in their chase. He was accompanied by Munaf Patel and Pragyan Ojha, who played well together and helped him accomplish this feat. In the last game, England Legends played West Indies Legends. England were struggling at one point in the game, but a quick 54 from Rikki Clarke ensured their bowlers had something to contend with.

Although it was a long and frustrating wait for the crowd in Dehradun, they got a good show. The chance to see Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh rewind the clock to pile up a massive total on the board is too good to pass up. It was never going to be easy to chase 171 runs in 15 overs. The situation is worse given the struggles England Legends have had throughout the tournament. Even though Phil Mustard started in positive fashion, Ian Bell crawled along and failed to gain any momentum after Dixon Mascarenhas went wicketless. The asking rate continued to rise steeply due to regular wickets preventing the flow of runs. With a nagging economy rate, Rajesh Pawar returned with a three-fer, displaying guile and control of the highest order. Finally, India Legends was able to succeed because Pragyan Ojha did his part again. The offering rate was so high that it was not going to cover the costs. Tim Ambrose and Mustard seemed to be upping the ante, but the price was too high. As India Legends coasted home with a comfortable margin, soaring to the top of the table, Chris Tremlett and Chris Schofield were able to do nothing but tonk and have fun after the game was well and truly lost. In the camp of the Indians, everyone is smiling. Again, Tendulkar turned in a dominant performance, which will make him very happy. India Legends won the 14th match by 40 runs.
