As the 3 ODI match series in New Zealand cricket team touring Ireland was ended, New Zealand clean sweep the series by a 3-0 on the last match of the series by 1 run.
In the first ODI, Ireland's Harry Tector and New Zealand's Michael Bracewell both scored centuries. Bracewell's 127 not out helped New Zealand to win the match by one wicket with one ball remaining.
New Zealand won the second ODI by three wickets to win the series with a match to play.
New Zealand won the third and final ODI by one run to win the series 3–0.
Match Highlights:
Paul Stirling and Harry Tector centuries went in vain as New Zealand defeated Ireland by one run in the third ODI at the Malahide Cricket Club in Dublin. Chasing a total of 361, Ireland were restricted to a total of 359 for nine in 50 overs, despite Stirling and Tector scoring 120 and 108, respectively. Earlier, Martin Guptill scored a brilliant 115 as New Zealand posted a total of 360 for six in 50 overs. New Zealand have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series after having won the first two ODIs. Both matches have been close encounters and Ireland have come to registering a victory. Both sides would be hoping to put on a spectacle for the fans in the final ODI.
