Virat Kohli of India men's national cricket team and Pakistan women's All rounder Nida Dar made a terrific performances.


Where both Kohli and Dar were crowned winners via a global vote among media representatives, ICC Hall of Famers, former international players, and fans registered at icc-cricket.com.

ICC Men’s Player of Month of October : Virat Kohli



After making some outstanding performances in the shortest format , Virat Kohli has been announced as the winner of ICC Men’s Player of Month for October 2022.


Kohli secured his 1st nomination for ICC Men’s Player of Month by edging out David Miller of South Africa and Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe who is also made a contribution at the 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup held in Australia.


The Indian talisman batted only four innings in October, but he produced three memorable runs, including a spectacular 82* against Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

India appeared to be out of the game when Pakistan reduced them to 31/4 while they were chasing 160.


However, Kohli didn't give up and went on to knock a remarkable 82* from just 53 deliveries to lead India to victory.


Kohli further recognized that it was the best T20I innings of his career during the post-match interview.

Virat Kohli scored a stunning performance of 49* from just 28 deliveries against South Africa in Guwahati earlier in the month in addition to his majestic knock against Pakistan.


Just after the famous innings against Pakistan, he also hit an unbeaten 62 from 44 deliveries against Netherlands in the T20 World Cup.


India's progress to the semi-finals match was greatly aided by Kohli's efforts as the second semi-final will now take place in Adelaide on November 10 and feature India vs. England.


ICC Women’s Player of Month of October : Nida Dar



From her contribution to Pakistan’s Semi Final match battle in Women’s Asia Cup against Bangladesh, Nida Dar takes the title of ICC Women’s Player of Month of October 2022.


Dar beats out Indian teammates Rodrigues and Deepti Sharma, who both put up strong performances during their successful Women's Asia Cup victory, to earn the ICC Women's Player of the Month award for the first time.


In October's Women's Asia Cup, Dar gave Pakistan an amazing showing. She scored 145 runs in six games at an impressive average of 72.50, took eight wickets for just 14.87 each, and did all of this while playing in just six games.


She has achieved a lot, including a fantastic all-around performance against India in which she struck an unbeaten 56 and then claimed bowling statistics of 2/23 to lead Pakistan to a memorable triumph.


Pakistan was able to go to the semi-finals, where they narrowly lost to Sri Lanka by one run, because to Dar's steady performances in a demanding batting and bowling role throughout the competition.
