Sydney Thunder will take on a face to face match against Adelaide Strikers in Match 5 of Big Bash League 2022-23. The Sydney Thunder began their campaign against the Melbourne Stars with a thrilling last-ball victory. With recent addition Fazalhaq Farooqi standing out, their bowling attack was on fire. Due to a flawless performance against the tough Sydney Sixers team, the Adelaide Strikers also won their first game of the season. The Strikers' undefeated start to the season will be important to players like Matt Short and Henry Thornton, who were excellent against the Sixers. On paper, the two teams appear to be equally matched, but the Strikers may have the upper hand because of Chris Lynn and Rashid Khan, two players with more star power. A fun game is about to begin in Sydney with the possibility of two crucial points on the line.
