Big Bash League 2022-23 Knockout Round by 11ic

The Big Bash League 2022–23 Knockout Round is scheduled to feature a match between the Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat. In the current standings, Usman Khawaja's Heat have moved up from the bottom of the standings to the middle. However, they went on to stage an incredible comeback and advanced to the playoffs after that. As a result, they are now only two steps away from competing against Perth Scorchers in the final of the competition. At Sydney Showground Stadium, they defeated the Sydney Thunder by an eight-run margin (DLS Method), so they will come into the game with a winning record. The captain, Khawaja, scored 94 runs off just 55 balls, including 10 fours and three sixes, earning him Player of the Match honors.

With 14 points and a net run rate of -0.027, the Renegades, who were captained by Aaron Finch, came in third place in the standings. The Adelaide Strikers were defeated by them by six wickets on January 24. They will enter the game with that victory. When it counted most, Skipper Finch stepped up. With the help of six fours and two sixes, the right-handed batter defeated the Strikers for 63 runs off of 54 balls. With 10 balls remaining, the Renegades were able to reach their target of 143 thanks to his knock.

Four of the five games played at Docklands Stadium have been won by the Renegades. Furthermore, they both times beaten the Heat in the opening round. The hunting team will, however, be at a significant disadvantage in the following game when all things considered.
