The Pakistan Super League, a Twenty20 franchise cricket league founded by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015, will enter its eighth season in 2023. The draft for the tournament was held on December 15 in Karachi. Previously, PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja had suggested an auction-based approach to replace the draft for the 2023 edition. Along with local players, 36 international players were chosen. The competition is slated to occur from 13 February to 19 March 2023.

Match Venues
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, matches will be played at Multan, Peshawar, Lahore, and Karachi in 2023. Only Lahore and Karachi served as venues for the tournament in 2022; Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar was later deemed unable to host any games. Later, the Bugti Stadium in Quetta was included to the list of PSL venues but was soon removed out for logistical reasons.
Match Schedule and Fixture
The six teams , will play against each other twice in the league stage of the tournament in a double round robin in total of 30 matches. And the Top 4 teams will able to get a spot and play for the Playoff Stage of the tournament.
The first match happen yesterday , Feb. 13 at Multan Cricket Stadium, where Lahore Qalandars takes their first victory against Multan Sultans by 1 run.
