Only a few days after the finals match of the ICC men's T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, the ten Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises have submitted their Retention List to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ahead of the IPL 2023 mini auction on December 23 in Kochi.
The TATA Indian Premier League 2023 signing period for the 10 franchises closed on November 15, 2022. While 85 players were removed from the franchises' current squads, 163 players were kept by the teams.
