The European Cricket League, founded in 2019 by German open cricketer Daniel Weston, is a way to promote cricket in Europe, which is evolving as the equivalent of

the European Football Champions League. It has been announced that by 2020 the European Cricket League will expand from 8 teams to 30 European countries to become national club champions. That came after Weston signed with several European cricket boards to secure the invitation of their local champions.


The European Cricket League 2022 is a T10 starts in Hungary cricket tournament. This is the second season of the European Cricket League originally 2021 was postponed from due to COVID-19. In the 2021 final, the Royal Tigers defeated Hungarian ECS T10 champion Budapest by 8 goals.


The current European Cricket Series (ECS) in June 2022 starts with ECS T10 Hungary 2022, which will start on 13 June. The next ECS match will take place in Szodliget, Hungary. In 24 games 5 teams competed for the championship. The final will take place on June 18.

In the single round robin format, each team plays twice against the other four teams. The teams that will be in the top four will play in the final. Last year, the Royal Tigers defeated the Budapest Blinders with 8 goals and a place 2022 Hungarian ECS T10 final to reach the reigning champions.
